The Opportunity:
A school is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior School Global Politics Teacher to join its team. This role offers the opportunity to shape the learning experience of students through the IB Diploma Programme and contribute to a dynamic, international curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and collaboratively plan Global Politics at IBDP level
- Contribute to the development and delivery of Key Stage 3 Humanities curriculum
- Support the teaching of History at iGCSE and IB level when required
- Actively participate in the After-School Activities team
- Fulfil a pastoral role as a form teacher, supporting student well-being and development
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A recognised teaching qualification from the UK or a Commonwealth country
- At least 3 years of teaching experience
- Experience of working in a British-style education setting
Preferred
- Understanding of high-quality Global Citizenship Education in an international school
- Experience teaching History, Humanities, Economics, and Business at IGCSE and IBDP levels
- Experience working as a form teacher or homeroom teacher
- Creative use of technology for learning
- Experience teaching in more than one school
