The Opportunity:
As a Senior Site Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of a school environment across multiple sites. This position offers the chance to lead a team, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and contribute to the smooth operation of a dynamic and prestigious institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and management of the main school site, four satellite sites, and all school grounds
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and best practice
- Supervise security, custodial, and locking/unlocking duties across all sites
- Support the planning and delivery of maintenance works and site improvements
- Act as a keyholder and trusted point of contact for all site-related matters
- Manage and lead the site team effectively
- Drive the school minibus when required
- Liaise with the Estates Lead for the CMAT on a regular basis
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Full, clean driving licence
- Strong working knowledge of buildings and grounds maintenance
- Excellent understanding of health and safety requirements
- Ability to carry out security and custodial duties
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual work, including outdoors in most weather conditions
Preferred
- Experience in managing a team or leading site operations
- Experience with school environments or educational institutions
- Knowledge of CMAT or similar multi-academy trust structures
- Experience in driving a school minibus
