Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the maintenance and upkeep of school buildings and grounds.

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for site operations and emergency preparedness.
  • Monitor and report on the condition of school property and equipment.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and legal requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a senior site management or supervisory role within an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Experience in managing budgets and resources for site operations.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

  • Experience working within a Multi-Academy Trust or similar educational organization.
  • Familiarity with school infrastructure and building management systems.
  • Knowledge of sustainable practices and environmental management.
  • Experience in emergency planning and crisis management.
