The Opportunity:
We are seeking a motivated Site Assistant to join a dynamic team responsible for caretaking, security, and maintenance across the school site. This role is essential in ensuring the school remains a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for students and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide caretaking and maintenance support across the school site.
- Assist with minor repair work and ensure the site remains in good condition.
- Support security procedures and ensure the safety of students, staff, and visitors.
- Work collaboratively with the site team on a rotational basis, covering Monday to Friday.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, order, and safety throughout the school.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and respond promptly to any issues that arise.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and report any hazards immediately.
- Assist with general administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may be physically demanding.
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards and a safe working environment.
Preferred
- Experience with basic maintenance and repair tasks.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Previous experience in a school or similar environment.
- Flexibility to work on a rotational basis and during out-of-hours as required.
