The Opportunity:

As a Site Security Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, security, and smooth operation of school facilities during after-school hours and external lettings. This is a newly created role, offering a unique opportunity to be part of a growing and dedicated security team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise security cover and staffing levels across shift patterns
  • Conduct regular site patrols and security checks
  • Monitor access points and site activity, addressing unsafe or inappropriate behaviour
  • Act as the main on-site contact for external lettings, ensuring excellent customer service
  • Support safe access for out-of-hours activities, trips, and lettings
  • Ensure facilities are secure, tidy, and correctly set up or closed down
  • Work with Estates and Amenities teams to support events, room setups, and equipment
  • Monitor and report on the swimming pool in line with procedures

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in site security, facilities, or estates work
  • Ability to oversee shifts and manage incidents calmly under pressure
  • Strong organisational and customer service skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and maintaining high standards across the site

Preferred

  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Knowledge of access control processes and staff ID systems
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as part of a rota
  • Familiarity with security management software or systems
