The Opportunity:

As a Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining the school environment by managing cleaning, security, and general maintenance services. This is an essential role in ensuring the academy remains a safe and welcoming place for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all general maintenance tasks across the academy.
  • Ensure cleaning schedules are followed and all areas are kept to a high standard.
  • Monitor and manage security protocols and procedures.
  • Log all checks and maintenance tasks on the Trust’s electronic reporting system.
  • Coordinate with relevant staff and contractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance work.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.
  • Support the school in meeting health and safety standards.
  • Assist with any emergency situations as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and security.

Preferred

  • Experience with electronic reporting systems or maintenance software.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Experience working in a school or multi-academy trust environment.
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard hours when required.
