The Opportunity:
As a Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining the school environment by managing cleaning, security, and general maintenance services. This is an essential role in ensuring the academy remains a safe and welcoming place for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all general maintenance tasks across the academy.
- Ensure cleaning schedules are followed and all areas are kept to a high standard.
- Monitor and manage security protocols and procedures.
- Log all checks and maintenance tasks on the Trust’s electronic reporting system.
- Coordinate with relevant staff and contractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance work.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.
- Support the school in meeting health and safety standards.
- Assist with any emergency situations as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and security.
Preferred
- Experience with electronic reporting systems or maintenance software.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Experience working in a school or multi-academy trust environment.
- Flexibility to work outside of standard hours when required.
