Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out general premises maintenance and repairs
- Support cleaning and upkeep of external areas
- Assist with porterage duties and room setups
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Support security and site safety, including occasional keyholding duties
- Work collaboratively with the site team to maintain a welcoming and safe school environment
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly and efficiently
- Contribute to the smooth running of daily operations across the school site
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Previous experience in premises maintenance and handyman tasks
- Ability to carry out basic repairs and maintenance tasks
- A proactive, reliable team player with good problem-solving skills
Preferred
- Previous experience working in a school environment
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
- Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings or overtime
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary at Scale 4 (£30,288)
- Full-time, 52-week contract including school holidays
