As a Site Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for students, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out general premises maintenance and repairs
  • Support cleaning and upkeep of external areas
  • Assist with porterage duties and room setups
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Support security and site safety, including occasional keyholding duties
  • Work collaboratively with the site team to maintain a welcoming and safe school environment
  • Respond to maintenance requests promptly and efficiently
  • Contribute to the smooth running of daily operations across the school site

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Previous experience in premises maintenance and handyman tasks
  • Ability to carry out basic repairs and maintenance tasks
  • A proactive, reliable team player with good problem-solving skills

Preferred

  • Previous experience working in a school environment
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
  • Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings or overtime

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary at Scale 4 (£30,288)
  • Full-time, 52-week contract including school holidays
