Sixth Form Administrator needed to support attendance, pastoral care, and administration in a successful school.

As a Sixth Form Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations and well-being of students in Year 12 and 13. You will contribute to maintaining high attendance rates, managing student records, and providing pastoral support. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and record daily attendance for Year 12 and 13 students.
- Contact parents and carers to investigate and resolve student absences.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records using the school's software (SIMS).
- Supervise the sixth form private study room to ensure a productive environment.
- Support individual students with attendance, organisation, and pastoral needs.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to sixth form operations.
- Collaborate with the sixth form team to ensure smooth running of the department.
- Provide a friendly and supportive presence to students in need.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility with working hours, including the possibility of a 9am start.
Preferred
- Previous experience in a school or sixth form setting.
- Experience with SIMS or similar school management software.
- Knowledge of pastoral support and student welfare practices.
- Experience in a leadership or mentoring role.
