The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Sixth Form Administrator to support the Head of Sixth Form and Tutor Team in maintaining high standards of pastoral care, student achievement, and behaviour. This role is integral to ensuring a positive and successful Sixth Form experience for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Sixth Form and Tutor Team in managing pastoral care and student well-being.
- Monitor and report on student attendance, punctuality, and behaviour.
- Assist in the organisation of academic and pastoral events for Sixth Form students.
- Maintain accurate records and data relating to student progress and performance.
- Liaise with parents, students, and staff to ensure effective communication and support.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the Sixth Form.
- Support the promotion of student achievement and progression through academic and personal development opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience in an administrative role within an educational setting.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Knowledge of student welfare and pastoral care procedures.
Preferred
- Experience working within a Sixth Form or senior school setting.
- Familiarity with school management systems and software.
- Understanding of Christian values and ethos in an educational context.
- Experience in supporting student achievement and progression.
