The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a passionate and experienced Spanish Teacher - Secondary to join its dynamic MFL department. The role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of students and contribute to a thriving, international learning community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Spanish across all three key stages (3-5) with a focus on student achievement and engagement.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons aligned with Cambridge IGCSE, CAIE A-Level, and IB Diploma curricula.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental and school-wide initiatives.
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities and support the wider school community.
  • Provide individualized feedback and support to students to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain and enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
  • Stay up to date with best practices in education and incorporate them into teaching methods.
  • Prepare and assess students in line with the school’s academic standards and examination requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Spanish at secondary level.
  • Ability to teach all three key stages (3-5).
  • Hold a local or international teaching qualification.
  • Proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive and motivating attitude towards students and colleagues.

Preferred

  • Experience with Cambridge IGCSE, CAIE A-Level, and/or IB Diploma courses.
  • Background in extra-curricular activities or leadership roles within a school setting.
  • Experience in a multicultural and international educational environment.
