We are seeking a passionate and experienced Spanish Teacher to join our dynamic Secondary School team. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging IB DP Spanish ab initio lessons to secondary students.
- Create innovative and culturally rich learning experiences that align with the school’s mission and curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning and student development.
- Assess student progress through a variety of methods, including portfolios, class performance, and written tests.
- Participate in professional development and curriculum design initiatives.
- Support students in developing language proficiency and intercultural understanding.
- Engage in extracurricular activities and school events that enhance the learning experience.
- Maintain strong communication with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree with professional qualifications in Education.
- Solid experience in teaching IB DP Spanish ab initio to secondary students.
- Strong command of English.
- Experience in teaching in a Secondary School environment.
Preferred
- Experience of teaching a second subject.
- Experience in a bilingual working environment.
- Strong IT and curriculum development skills.
