The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Spanish Teacher to join our dynamic Secondary School team. This role is central to delivering a high-quality, IB-aligned curriculum that inspires students to become global citizens. The successful candidate will have a strong impact on student learning and contribute to a vibrant, multicultural educational community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging IB DP Spanish ab initio lessons to secondary students.
  • Create innovative and culturally rich learning experiences that align with the school’s mission and curriculum.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning and student development.
  • Assess student progress through a variety of methods, including portfolios, class performance, and written tests.
  • Participate in professional development and curriculum design initiatives.
  • Support students in developing language proficiency and intercultural understanding.
  • Engage in extracurricular activities and school events that enhance the learning experience.
  • Maintain strong communication with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree with professional qualifications in Education.
  • Solid experience in teaching IB DP Spanish ab initio to secondary students.
  • Strong command of English.
  • Experience in teaching in a Secondary School environment.

Preferred

  • Experience of teaching a second subject.
  • Experience in a bilingual working environment.
  • Strong IT and curriculum development skills.
