The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Spanish and French lessons to students across multiple key stages.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in languages.
  • Support the development of language skills through engaging and interactive teaching methods.
  • Plan and deliver lessons in line with the Edexcel framework and curriculum requirements.
  • Participate in departmental planning and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Languages department.
  • Organize and lead language-specific trips and immersion experiences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages student engagement and progress.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Spanish and French.
  • Strong subject knowledge in both languages.
  • Experience teaching at Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3.
  • Commitment to student achievement and professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with the Edexcel framework for GCSE and A Level languages.
  • Experience organizing or leading language trips and immersion programs.
  • Familiarity with teaching languages to students at KS5.
  • Experience in developing and delivering cross-curricular projects.
