The Opportunity:

A Speech and Language Pathologist K-12 is needed to provide essential support to students across all grade levels. This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to address speech and language needs through evidence-based practices. The ideal candidate will be passionate about student growth and committed to collaboration and professional excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans aligned with student needs and school goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide clear, actionable reports to support student progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student growth and development.
  • Provide coaching and consultation to enhance classroom communication practices and support student learning.
  • Participate in SST meetings and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with school and safeguarding policies.
  • Apply knowledge of second language acquisition and cultural-linguistic diversity in practice.
  • Engage in ongoing professional learning and development to stay current with best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Master's in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related fields.
  • Undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and/or Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an accredited school.
  • Valid SLP credential or license.

Preferred

  • Experience working with diverse student populations.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with MTSS and tiered support systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring.
