The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver bespoke assessments and intervention plans in collaboration with teaching staff
  • Manage a small caseload of pupils with speech and language needs
  • Support staff through training, consultation, and reflective practice
  • Work closely with the Clinical Lead and SENCo to ensure quality care
  • Develop and implement strategies that enhance communication skills
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of students regularly
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on student development
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student care

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Registered member of RCSLT and HCPC
  • Hold a professional Speech and Language Therapy degree or equivalent
  • Completed SALT NPQ Status

Preferred

  • Experience working with students with ASC and SEMH needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in a school or educational setting
  • Commitment to continuous professional development

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate between £15.53–£18.62
  • Term time only, part-time position (24 hours per week)
