The Opportunity:
As a Sports Coach Graduate, you will play a key role in supporting the school’s sports, physical education, and boarding programmes. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your knowledge and develop your skills in a dynamic and well-resourced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality coaching in sports such as football, hockey, netball, and rugby.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of sports and physical education programmes.
- Support student athletes through athletic development, analysis, and nutrition services.
- Assist with boarding programme responsibilities, including evening duties and weekend commitments (where applicable).
- Engage with students in all areas of school life, promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
- Participate in a structured personal development programme.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to enhance the sporting experience for students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A recent graduate or expected to graduate in July 2026 with a degree in Sports Science, Sports Coaching, or a related field.
- Regular participation in sport to a good standard.
- Willingness to be involved in all aspects of school life.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a confident, reliable personality.
Preferred
- Coaching qualifications in relevant sports.
- Experience as a player or early-career coach.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary of £14,705.76 per annum (inclusive of holiday pay) for graduates living in accommodation.
- Full board and lodgings (non-monetary, valued at £3,341.10 per annum).
- Personal development programme valued at more than £2,500.
- Salary of £18,538.81 per annum for graduates not living in accommodation.
