The Opportunity:

A school is seeking two enthusiastic and committed Sports Graduate Assistants to join its ambitious sports department. This is a unique opportunity to work across both Senior and Prep schools, contributing to a program known for national excellence and inclusive participation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach and officiate in at least two core sports, leading sessions and managing teams.
  • Support academic teaching in your degree specialism, with opportunities for team-teaching and classroom support.
  • Act as a Tutor, deliver PSHE content, and support the boarding community through weekly evening duties.
  • Assist with outdoor education, house competitions, and the wider co-curricular activity programme.
  • Promote the welfare and safeguarding of pupils within a boarding context.
  • Engage with students and staff across the school, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of sports programs at both Senior and Prep levels.
  • Support the school's mission of excellence in education and co-curricular provision.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proficiency in two core sports (e.g., Hockey, Rugby, Football, Cricket, Netball, or Tennis).
  • Experience working with young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of pupils.

Preferred

  • A 2:1 degree (or above) in a relevant subject.
  • Experience working across Prep and Senior age groups.
  • Previous experience in teaching or coaching within an educational setting.
