Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and delivery of sports lessons and activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of sports programs for students of all ages.
- Promote a positive and inclusive sporting culture within the school.
- Work closely with teaching staff to ensure the needs of students are met.
- Help organize and manage sports events and competitions.
- Provide guidance and support to students both in and out of the classroom.
- Contribute to the overall sporting and extracurricular life of the school.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to student progress and participation.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A relevant degree or currently studying for a degree in sports, physical education, or a related field.
- Enthusiasm for working with young people and a commitment to promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and willingness to take on a range of responsibilities.
Preferred
- Previous experience in a teaching or sports-related role.
- Experience with coaching or leading sports activities.
- Knowledge of sports curriculum and assessment methods.
- Familiarity with school environments and student development.
Compensation & Benefits:
- £19,000 annual salary.
