Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality GCSE and A Level Statistics lessons that align with curriculum standards.

  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students to help them improve and reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and subject experts to ensure consistency and excellence in teaching practices.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in the field of Statistics education.
  • Support students through personalized guidance and mentorship.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities as required.
  • Contribute to the ongoing review and improvement of assessment materials and qualification content.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Current sector experience or applied subject knowledge with at least two years of experience.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Confidence in using IT and word processing tools effectively.
  • Ability to follow a brief and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality education and student support.

Preferred

  • Recent industry experience (within the last two years).
  • Experience in conducting or writing assessments within the subject area.
  • Knowledge of the educational context through teaching, training, or awarding organisation experience.
