Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement effective STEM programs aligned with educational goals
  • Deliver engaging and curriculum-based lessons that foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Support student growth through personalized learning experiences and mentorship
  • Integrate emerging technologies and hands-on learning tools into daily instruction
  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of STEM curricula and resources

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject area, with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education or equivalent teaching credential
  • Minimum of 10 weeks’ practicum experience
  • Teacher education/training accepted by Alberta Education
  • Strong command of spoken and written English
  • Proven experience in teaching STEM subjects in an international school setting

Preferred

  • Experience with the IB Diploma Programme or Advanced Placement courses
  • Familiarity with technologies such as VR Room, robotics, drones, 3D printers, and Micro:bit
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and integrate new teaching methods
  • Commitment to Christian education values and a faith-based learning environment
