The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and creative Teacher to join our dedicated team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with special needs. This role offers the chance to work in a supportive environment with a strong focus on individualized education and therapeutic care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.
  • Support students with autism in learning activities and personal skills.
  • Create medium-term plans and follow schemes of work.
  • Take responsibility for a subject or curriculum area.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to improve student outcomes.
  • Manage complex behaviors and provide individualized support.
  • Contribute to the development of therapeutic and educational programs.
  • Work with teaching assistants to ensure a structured and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience working with students with autism and special needs.
  • Ability to plan and deliver structured learning environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality education and support.

Preferred

  • Experience in special needs education or autism support.
  • Background in developing and implementing individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Experience with behaviour management strategies.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic and clinical support approaches.
  • Experience in creating engaging and inclusive lesson plans.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary up to £45,000 per annum.
