Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and meaningful lessons aligned with the school’s ethos and values
- Design hands-on learning experiences that spark curiosity and inspire pupils
- Uphold the highest professional standards of teaching and classroom practice
- Support pupils with complex needs, including those with SEMH and/or ASD
- Collaborate with the Deputy Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to ensure a positive learning environment
- Promote a culture of creativity, progress, and emotional wellbeing
- Build strong, positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
- Contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive school community
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A full UK Driving Licence
- Experience working with pupils with SEMH and/or ASD
- Confidence in supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
- High-quality classroom practice and professional standards
- Strong commitment to safeguarding
- A positive, collaborative mindset and willingness to engage in training and development
Preferred
- Experience supporting young people from challenging backgrounds
- Evidence of driving positive pupil outcomes
