The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our team on a temporary, part-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in either the Foundation Stage or Key Stage 1, supporting students in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements and support student progress.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and learning.
  • Monitor and assess student performance regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching standards.
  • Support the school’s commitment to inclusion and community engagement through active participation in school initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to keep them informed of student progress and school activities.
  • Follow safeguarding and child protection policies to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in early years or primary education.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and student well-being.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly within a temporary and part-time role.

Preferred

  • Experience working with Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
  • Familiarity with the National Curriculum and teaching in a primary setting.
  • Experience in delivering lessons in Foundation Stage or Key Stage 1.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
