Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Art and 3D Design lessons across Key Stages 3 and 5.
• Develop and implement a challenging and engaging curriculum that supports student progress and achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and improve teaching and learning.
• Support students in achieving excellent results and preparing for GCSE and A-level examinations.
• Engage students in a range of super-curricular activities and enrichment opportunities.
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
• Ensure the safe and effective use of resources and equipment in the Art and Design department.
• Participate in the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular and pastoral responsibilities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Art and 3D Design.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning in a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for Art and 3D Design.
• Experience in developing and delivering a curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching at both GCSE and A-level.
• Experience in developing and leading a successful department.
• Experience in working with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience in using digital tools and technologies in the classroom.
