Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Business at GCSE and A Level, delivering engaging and well-planned lessons that challenge and inspire pupils.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, ensuring high standards of learning and achievement.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and support the academic and personal development of students.
  • Participate actively in the life of the school, including extracurricular activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain and enhance the academic standards of the department.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant honours degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Strong subject knowledge in Business and the ability to teach up to A Level.
  • Reflective, well-organised, and committed to continuous professional development.
  • Ability to establish positive classroom relationships and motivate students.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching a second relevant subject such as Computer Science or Economics.
  • Experience with extracurricular provision or leadership in school activities.
