Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Business at GCSE and A Level, delivering engaging and well-planned lessons that challenge and inspire pupils.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, ensuring high standards of learning and achievement.
- Contribute to curriculum development and support the academic and personal development of students.
- Participate actively in the life of the school, including extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain and enhance the academic standards of the department.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A relevant honours degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Strong subject knowledge in Business and the ability to teach up to A Level.
- Reflective, well-organised, and committed to continuous professional development.
- Ability to establish positive classroom relationships and motivate students.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
Preferred
- Experience teaching a second relevant subject such as Computer Science or Economics.
- Experience with extracurricular provision or leadership in school activities.
