Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons to students at both GCSE and A Level
  • Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized learning and pastoral care
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance departmental performance
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities related to the subject
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning
  • Stay up to date with developments in the subject area and incorporate them into teaching
  • Contribute to the wider school community through staff development and shared initiatives

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge
  • Experience teaching Business Studies at both GCSE and A Level
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to student progress and achievement
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Preferred

  • Experience in a school with a strong focus on student outcomes
  • Experience with curriculum development and innovation
  • Experience in a large, comprehensive school setting
  • Experience with Ofsted-inspected schools
