Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging, and innovative computing lessons across the Preparatory School curriculum.
- Foster curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning in students through interactive and challenging teaching methods.
- Contribute to the development of digital literacy and computational thinking skills in pupils.
- Support the wider life of the school by participating in extracurricular activities and events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent standards of teaching and learning across the school.
- Stay up to date with developments in computing education and integrate new technologies into the classroom.
- Provide pastoral care and support to students where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and achievement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in computing, information technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in teaching computing at the Preparatory School level.
- Strong knowledge of computing curriculum and digital literacy skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience in developing and delivering innovative computing programs.
- Familiarity with coding, robotics, or other emerging technologies in education.
- Experience with teaching in an international or British curriculum setting.
- Evidence of professional development or leadership in computing education.
