Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4 in Construction or Engineering.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative, project-based learning opportunities.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through engaging and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Maintain high expectations of behaviour and attitudes to ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues in English.

  • Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular and pastoral activities.
  • Ensure all health and safety standards are met in the classroom and across the school’s facilities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Construction or Engineering.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and student success.
  • Experience in delivering lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.

Preferred

  • Experience with vocational and academic teaching methods.
  • Familiarity with project-based learning and collaborative teaching models.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard tools and equipment used in Construction or Engineering.
  • Experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs.
