The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4 in Construction or Engineering.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative, project-based learning opportunities.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through engaging and inclusive teaching practices.
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour and attitudes to ensure a positive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues in English.
- Participate in the school’s professional development and training initiatives.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular and pastoral activities.
- Ensure all health and safety standards are met in the classroom and across the school’s facilities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Construction or Engineering.
- Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
- Commitment to inclusive education and student success.
- Experience in delivering lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.
Preferred
- Experience with vocational and academic teaching methods.
- Familiarity with project-based learning and collaborative teaching models.
- Knowledge of industry-standard tools and equipment used in Construction or Engineering.
- Experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs.
