Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons that challenge and inspire students.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that supports student progression and achievement.
  • Monitor and assess student performance to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support professional development.
  • Provide individualised support and guidance to students to help them reach their academic goals.
  • Encourage a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities and school events.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality Mathematics instruction.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and academic success.
  • Experience working in a school setting, preferably within a similar educational environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  • Background in continuous professional development (CPD).
  • Experience in leading or supporting student leadership initiatives.
  • Familiarity with the Thames Learning Trust or similar educational organisations.
