Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach A-Level for experienced candidates.
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that promote a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that align with current best practices in education.
- Support the school’s ethos and contribute to a wide range of co-curricular activities.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high standard of teaching and learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support where needed.
- Stay up to date with developments in the subject and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Mathematics education.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Mathematics.
- Experience teaching Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with best practices in teaching and learning.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively and promote positive behaviour.
Preferred
- Experience teaching A-Level Mathematics.
- Involvement in co-curricular activities.
