Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality maths lessons that inspire and engage students at all levels.
  • Work collaboratively with the maths department to maintain and improve outstanding student outcomes.
  • Support the development of innovative teaching and learning strategies.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of GCSE and A Level maths courses.
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students where appropriate.
  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continued improvement.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Engage in professional development and share best practices with colleagues.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant maths qualifications.
  • Experience teaching maths at GCSE and A Level, or willingness to develop these skills.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to student achievement and personal development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Experience in delivering Further Maths or Statistics.
  • Previous experience in a high-achieving school environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
