Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality maths lessons that inspire and engage students at all levels.
- Work collaboratively with the maths department to maintain and improve outstanding student outcomes.
- Support the development of innovative teaching and learning strategies.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of GCSE and A Level maths courses.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students where appropriate.
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continued improvement.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
- Engage in professional development and share best practices with colleagues.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant maths qualifications.
- Experience teaching maths at GCSE and A Level, or willingness to develop these skills.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Commitment to student achievement and personal development.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Experience in delivering Further Maths or Statistics.
- Previous experience in a high-achieving school environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
