Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective music lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
Support the development of a strong extra-curricular music programme, including school productions and talent shows.
Prepare and assess students in line with the school's academic and musical standards.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall music curriculum and student experience.
Provide pastoral support and guidance to students as needed.
Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Participate in school events and contribute to the wider school community.
Ensure the highest standards of teaching and student progress through continuous professional development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

Qualified teacher with relevant experience in music education.
Strong subject knowledge in music, including performance and theory.
Experience teaching students across a range of ages and abilities.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

Experience in delivering music at Key Stage 3, 4, and 5.
Experience in leading or contributing to extra-curricular music activities.
Experience with music scholarships or gifted student programmes.
Familiarity with independent school environments.
