The Opportunity:
As a Teacher of Physical Education, you will play a key role in promoting physical well-being and lifelong learning through engaging and challenging PE and Games lessons. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach PE and Games to pupils across Years 1–13 with enthusiasm and a focus on personal development.
- Develop and share high-quality schemes of work and resources in line with the school’s standards.
- Support the Co-Curricular Programme by leading at least two activities per week.
- Uphold and promote the school’s policies on health and safety, safeguarding, and pastoral care.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, contributing to a strong and cohesive school community.
- Participate in professional development, meetings, and assessments as required.
- Assist with internal and external examinations and assessments.
- Communicate effectively with parents and contribute to the school’s website and publications.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A relevant degree with a strong academic record.
- Proven experience in teaching Physical Education at a similar level.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.
- Strong knowledge of College policies, including safeguarding, health and safety, and pastoral care.
- Commitment to the school’s values and mission.
Preferred
- Experience in leading Co-Curricular activities or extracurricular programs.
- Background in working with students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
- Experience with curriculum development and resource creation.
- Familiarity with international education standards and practices.
