The Opportunity:

As a Teacher of Physical Education, you will play a key role in promoting physical well-being and lifelong learning through engaging and challenging PE and Games lessons. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives while contributing to a vibrant and supportive educational community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach PE and Games to pupils across Years 1–13 with enthusiasm and a focus on personal development.
  • Develop and share high-quality schemes of work and resources in line with the school’s standards.
  • Support the Co-Curricular Programme by leading at least two activities per week.
  • Uphold and promote the school’s policies on health and safety, safeguarding, and pastoral care.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, contributing to a strong and cohesive school community.
  • Participate in professional development, meetings, and assessments as required.
  • Assist with internal and external examinations and assessments.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and contribute to the school’s website and publications.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant degree with a strong academic record.
  • Proven experience in teaching Physical Education at a similar level.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.
  • Strong knowledge of College policies, including safeguarding, health and safety, and pastoral care.
  • Commitment to the school’s values and mission.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading Co-Curricular activities or extracurricular programs.
  • Background in working with students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
  • Experience with curriculum development and resource creation.
  • Familiarity with international education standards and practices.
