The Opportunity:

As a Teacher of RE, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, engaging curriculum to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will inspire students with your enthusiasm for the subject and contribute to the long-term vision of both the school and the RE department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality RE lessons that are engaging, challenging, and relevant to all students.
  • Support the development of a creative and inclusive curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the long-term vision and practice of the school and RE department.
  • Manage the classroom effectively to ensure a positive and productive learning environment for all students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure the best possible outcomes for all.
  • Participate in staff development and training to support continuous professional growth.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events that promote the values of the school.
  • Work closely with students, parents, and colleagues to support student well-being and academic success.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience in RE.
  • Experience teaching RE to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and raising student achievement.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students in learning.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and delivering a creative and challenging curriculum.
  • Experience in pastoral care or student support.
  • Experience with cross-curricular collaboration.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to departmental development.
