Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Religion, Philosophy and Ethics across all Key Stages.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
- Support students in achieving academic success and personal growth.
- Contribute to the delivery of PSHE as part of the school timetable.
- Maintain accurate records and assess student progress effectively.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the curriculum.
- Promote a positive and inclusive school culture that supports student well-being.
- Engage with parents and other stakeholders to ensure a consistent approach to student development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Religion, Philosophy and Ethics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student welfare and academic success.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Proven ability to manage a diverse range of students and deliver effective lessons.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching PSHE.
- Demonstrated leadership and initiative in a school setting.
- Experience with curriculum development and innovation.
- Background in pastoral care or student support.
- Familiarity with safeguarding and child protection policies.
