The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate Teacher of Technical Studies to deliver high-quality, inclusive education in Business and Health & Social Care. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in students’ lives while working in a dynamic and supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons in Business and Health & Social Care across key stages.
  • Plan and assess learning in line with the National Curriculum, using data to monitor progress and close gaps.
  • Contribute to the development of the curriculum and enrichment opportunities.
  • Undertake form tutor responsibilities and support student wellbeing and personal development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to enhance student outcomes.
  • Promote a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding, equality, and continuous professional improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Technical Studies, Business, or Health & Social Care.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality, inclusive teaching across key stages.
  • Ability to plan and assess learning effectively using data to support student progress.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and professional integrity.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in curriculum development or enrichment programme delivery.
  • Background in form tutor responsibilities or student wellbeing support.
  • Experience with Safer Recruitment principles and DBS checks.
  • Knowledge of innovative teaching practices and continuous professional development.
