The Opportunity:

As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will support teaching staff in creating an engaging learning environment for students. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education and wants to make a positive impact in a high-performing school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching staff in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities.
  • Assist with the care and wellbeing of students, promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Help implement support programmes tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to enhance the learning experience.
  • Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Level 2 qualification in teaching or a related field.
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to the school’s values of kindness, ambition, and academic excellence.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational environment.
  • Knowledge of child development and learning strategies.
  • Experience with supporting students with special educational needs.
  • Familiarity with teaching methodologies and curriculum frameworks.
