Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching and learning by working with pupils on a one-to-one, small group, and whole class basis.
  • Develop positive relationships with students and staff across the school.
  • Assist in creating an outstanding learning environment that enables pupils to succeed.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to enhance student outcomes.
  • Deliver tailored support that aligns with the school’s leadership and academic goals.

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of activities that promote social action and character development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with children in a school setting.
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with students and other adults.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Strong organisational and technical skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in a leadership or character development programme.
  • Background in supporting students from disadvantaged communities.
  • Experience with teaching assistants or learning support roles.
  • Knowledge of leadership education or social action initiatives.
