Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons and classroom activities
  • Assist with marking and providing feedback to students
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support students with individual learning needs and special educational requirements
  • Contribute to the planning and preparation of teaching resources
  • Monitor and support student behavior and well-being
  • Work closely with other staff to ensure consistency in teaching and learning
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant experience in an educational setting, ideally as a Teaching Assistant
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Good organisational and time management skills

Preferred

  • Experience in a secondary school environment
  • Knowledge of current educational practices and curriculum requirements
  • Experience with supporting students with special educational needs
  • Familiarity with using digital tools and resources in the classroom
  • Previous involvement in professional development or training initiatives
