The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Support teaching staff in the delivery of learning activities and classroom management.
- Assist with the implementation of individual care and support programmes tailored to the needs of pupils.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and engagement.
- Work closely with senior staff to ensure the smooth running of lessons and activities.
- Provide care and support to pupils in both classroom and non-classroom settings.
- Encourage the development of basic skills and personal growth in young learners.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment.
- Assist with the planning and organisation of educational activities and resources.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant experience working with children under the age of 5.
- Level 2 qualification in teaching assistance or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work flexibly and support the needs of young children in a nursery setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to promoting the welfare and development of children.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or early years setting.
- Knowledge of early years curriculum and child development.
- Experience with personalised learning and supporting children with additional needs.
- Flexibility to work term time only and on a part-time basis.
