Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with autism and complex needs
- Assist with delivering engaging lessons and creating learning resources
- Support pupils’ emotional regulation and social interaction
- Participate in outdoor learning and real-world experiences
- Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and professionals
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other specialists to support each child’s individual journey
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Caring, patient, and adaptable nature
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Resilience and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong team player with a desire to make a difference
Preferred
- Experience working with pupils with autism or complex needs
- Previous experience in education or support roles
- Knowledge of person-centred support strategies
