Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with autism and complex needs
  • Assist with delivering engaging lessons and creating learning resources
  • Support pupils’ emotional regulation and social interaction
  • Participate in outdoor learning and real-world experiences
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and professionals
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other specialists to support each child’s individual journey

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Caring, patient, and adaptable nature
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Resilience and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Strong team player with a desire to make a difference

Preferred

  • Experience working with pupils with autism or complex needs
  • Previous experience in education or support roles
  • Knowledge of person-centred support strategies
