Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in the classroom to ensure academic progress and personal development.
- Assist with lesson planning and delivery under the guidance of teachers.
- Foster positive relationships with students to enhance self-esteem and motivation.
- Monitor and support student behavior to maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Provide individualized support to students with additional needs where required.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to develop effective learning strategies.
- Promote a culture of respect, safety, and accountability among students.
- Participate in staff meetings and training to enhance professional development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A grade C/4 or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a commitment to student welfare.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience working with young people in a school environment.
- Knowledge of inclusive education practices.
- Experience with pastoral care and student support.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
