The Opportunity:
As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will support teaching staff in the classroom and assist with learning and behaviour management. This role is ideal for someone looking to make a meaningful impact on student outcomes in a dynamic and supportive educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teaching staff in delivering learning activities and managing classroom behaviour.
- Assist in the planning and organisation of learning resources and materials.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students as required.
- Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour to teaching staff.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual education plans.
- Work collaboratively with other teaching assistants and support staff to ensure a consistent approach to student support.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant experience in a teaching or learning support role.
- Ability to work effectively with children and young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to supporting student learning and behaviour management.
- Flexibility to work term time only and part-time hours.
Preferred
- Experience working with students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
- Knowledge of curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Experience in a school or educational setting.
- First aid or safeguarding training.
