The Opportunity:

As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will support students in accessing learning, assist with classroom management, and contribute to a positive and engaging educational experience. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team and make a real difference in the lives of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in accessing learning through tailored assistance and care programmes.
  • Assist teachers with classroom management and pupil support in both classroom and non-classroom settings.
  • Deliver work and care programmes in line with the guidance of teaching and senior staff.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure the needs of students are met effectively.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of lessons and activities.
  • Support the implementation of teaching strategies and learning objectives.
  • Engage with students in a friendly and professional manner to encourage participation and progress.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant experience in a teaching or support role, ideally within an educational setting.
  • A commitment to supporting students and fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work term time only, with 32.5 hours per week.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational environment.
  • Knowledge of child development and learning support strategies.
  • Experience with teaching assistants or similar roles.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
