The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Support and supervise students with SEND in the classroom and during lessons.
- Ensure the safety and access to learning for students with SEND.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to maximise student potential.
- Assist in the development and delivery of learning activities tailored to individual needs.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage student engagement in learning.
- Contribute to the overall development of the department and the school.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with staff and parents.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience working with students with special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative when required.
- Flexibility to work term time plus additional days.
Preferred
- Previous experience in a teaching or support role within an educational setting.
- Experience with teaching interventions and individualised learning plans.
- Knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies and practices.
- Experience with behaviour management and positive reinforcement techniques.
