Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with special educational needs and those requiring additional learning assistance.
- Deliver intervention programmes tailored to individual and small group needs.
- Work closely with teaching staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience.
- Assist in managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
- Engage with students in both structured and unstructured settings.
- Prepare and deliver learning experiences in conjunction with department staff.
- Provide practical and emotional support to students during and outside of classroom hours.
- Contribute to the inclusion team’s efforts in delivering necessary interventions.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A commitment to student welfare and learning.
- Experience working with students, including those with special educational needs.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
Preferred
- Experience in delivering intervention programmes.
- Background in education or related field.
- Familiarity with inclusive education practices.
- Previous experience in a school or similar educational setting.
