Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with special educational needs and those requiring additional learning assistance.
  • Deliver intervention programmes tailored to individual and small group needs.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience.
  • Assist in managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Engage with students in both structured and unstructured settings.
  • Prepare and deliver learning experiences in conjunction with department staff.
  • Provide practical and emotional support to students during and outside of classroom hours.
  • Contribute to the inclusion team’s efforts in delivering necessary interventions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A commitment to student welfare and learning.
  • Experience working with students, including those with special educational needs.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering intervention programmes.
  • Background in education or related field.
  • Familiarity with inclusive education practices.
  • Previous experience in a school or similar educational setting.
