Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
  • Provide individual and small group support to students in the classroom
  • Help create a fun, positive, and inclusive learning environment
  • Develop and implement bespoke interventions in partnership with teaching staff
  • Uphold the mission, values, and goals of the school
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
  • Assist with administrative tasks as required
  • Promote the well-being and development of all students

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, caring, and proactive attitude
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting
  • Knowledge of autism and special educational needs
  • Experience with behaviour management strategies
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
