Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Provide individual and small group support to students in the classroom
- Help create a fun, positive, and inclusive learning environment
- Develop and implement bespoke interventions in partnership with teaching staff
- Uphold the mission, values, and goals of the school
- Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
- Assist with administrative tasks as required
- Promote the well-being and development of all students
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience working with students with special educational needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, caring, and proactive attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting
- Knowledge of autism and special educational needs
- Experience with behaviour management strategies
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
