Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in the classroom and through pastoral care, creating an inclusive and nurturing environment.
- Assist with small group work, monitor student progress, and contribute to engaging lessons.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to support student success.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to learning.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and deliver lessons that meet curriculum requirements.
- Provide one-to-one and group support tailored to individual learning needs.
- Maintain accurate records and report student progress regularly.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- GCSEs at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in English, maths, and communication skills.
- Ability to build strong, professional relationships with children and adults.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching or learning support roles.
- Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEND).
- Knowledge of inclusive education practices.
- Experience with pastoral care and student support.
