The Opportunity:
As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will support students in accessing learning and assist with classroom management. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and high-performing educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in accessing learning and managing classroom activities.
- Assist teachers with the delivery of lessons and the management of pupils.
- Provide care and support to students as needed.
- Work under the guidance of teaching and senior staff.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the classroom and school environment.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student outcomes.
- Carry out duties both inside and outside the main teaching area.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant experience in a teaching or support role.
- Ability to work effectively with students and staff.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to supporting student learning and development.
- Flexibility to work 20 hours per week, term time only.
Preferred
- Experience working in a school or educational setting.
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant Level 2.
- Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices.
- Experience with supporting students with special educational needs.
