The Opportunity:

As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will support students in accessing learning and assist with classroom management. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and high-performing educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in accessing learning and managing classroom activities.
  • Assist teachers with the delivery of lessons and the management of pupils.
  • Provide care and support to students as needed.
  • Work under the guidance of teaching and senior staff.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the classroom and school environment.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student outcomes.
  • Carry out duties both inside and outside the main teaching area.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant experience in a teaching or support role.
  • Ability to work effectively with students and staff.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to supporting student learning and development.
  • Flexibility to work 20 hours per week, term time only.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a school or educational setting.
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant Level 2.
  • Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices.
  • Experience with supporting students with special educational needs.
