The Opportunity:

As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will support students in accessing learning and assist with classroom management. This is a key role in helping students reach their full potential within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in accessing learning and managing classroom activities.
  • Assist teaching staff in delivering lessons and managing pupil behavior.
  • Provide care and support to students as needed.
  • Help implement work and care programs tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Work closely with senior staff to ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the school during lessons and breaks.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to student support.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant experience in a teaching or support role.
  • Ability to work effectively with students and staff.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to supporting student learning and development.
  • Experience working in a school or educational setting.

Preferred

  • Level 2 qualification in teaching or a related field.
  • Experience with special educational needs support.
  • Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices.
  • Experience with classroom management techniques.
