The Opportunity:
As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will support students in accessing learning and assist with classroom management. This is a key role in helping students reach their full potential within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in accessing learning and managing classroom activities.
- Assist teaching staff in delivering lessons and managing pupil behavior.
- Provide care and support to students as needed.
- Help implement work and care programs tailored to individual learning needs.
- Work closely with senior staff to ensure a positive learning environment.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the school during lessons and breaks.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to student support.
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant experience in a teaching or support role.
- Ability to work effectively with students and staff.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to supporting student learning and development.
- Experience working in a school or educational setting.
Preferred
- Level 2 qualification in teaching or a related field.
- Experience with special educational needs support.
- Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices.
- Experience with classroom management techniques.
