Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with special educational needs in a positive and inclusive environment.
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual student needs.
- Monitor and record student progress and communicate regularly with staff and parents.
- Promote a safe and encouraging learning environment for all students.
- Collaborate with other teaching assistants and support staff to ensure consistency in student support.
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings and training sessions.
- Follow school policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing demands.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- A willingness to learn and develop professionally.
Preferred
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role.
- Experience working with students with special educational needs.
- A relevant qualification or training in education or childcare.
